On Saturday 27th May 2024, we had a successful launch of the foundation. It was an honour speaking to the community about the work we have come to day. The turn out was remarkable, the interaction was admirable and the questions asked by the audience tells you, people are searching for solutions.
The past few months, I have worked tireless with fellow warrior, Arrey Echi in putting this event together. I am ever so grateful knowing an intelligent and dedication woman like you.
We want to sincerely thank all the participants, the speakers and the lab technicians for making this day a success. A special gratitude goes to our media team headed by Yong Jones for capturing every detail.
A massive thank you to our SOBAN brothers and my beautiful Sobanese who not only were physically present, but donated a sum of 300,000cfa towards our work. This is a sign that our mission will surely be accomplished.
Our mission is to ensure that those living with sickle cell aren’t ashamed or ridiculed because of their condition, that they receive the care that they deserve and feel the love that they deserve.
